The workshop was established in 2017, employing a group of women who cut fabric strips and crocheted rugs. These women have revived this nearly extinct traditional craft, which serves both a practical purpose, as the rugs are used for floor coverings, and an aesthetic purpose, as they are used to decorate walls or furniture.
